Taqueria Alma Latina in Porter

Good food. Enchiladas r very good. Sauce is tasty and not spicy. My 2 yr old grandson loved his enchilada plate!!!

My first meal here and it won't be the last. The food was very tasty. I got my favorite, chicken enchiladas made with fajita chicken served with refried beans and rice. Comfort food all the way. The iced tea was a good strength just needed some ice. The restroom was clean too. Our waitress was quite attentive and helpful. Go try Alma Latina. You'll be glad you did.

Real mexican food, big plates

Outside patio area is nice on a sunny breezy day. Food was delicious. Will come back to eat here again.

The food is great we went in with a large group of people. The waiter was great I do not think anyone's glass at the table ever was empty. Food was spot on. We ordered a fajita plate never have I seen a plate for 4 so large,or have so many different meats. Beef fajita,chicken fajita,pork,beef ribs,shrimp,and sausage there was enough there to feed 4 men that can put the food away and take enough home for lunch the next day the plate was 60.00 I will defiantly be back

Food was average....... Little pricey. Server girl was full of attitude. Tall young lady, not sure if she was having a rough day. I won't be back. There are many better Mexican food all over Houston.

It was great food, but the booze were watered down. I had 6 shots of top shelf tequila and not even a buzz really. The fajitas were tender and the servings are plentiful!

Coming to be my favorite Mexican restaurant. They have all of the specialty soups and my cheese chili relleno. They also have a wide variety of refrescos and margaritas!

We really like this place food is good and the margaritas are excellent. Fajita combo is my go to here. If you like lightly fried, non greasy catfish this is your place. Just had mole empanadas and it was awesome. Save room for the Tres Lechee cake. You cant miss that one.

Very poor service im always go over there end always had good service but today is very sad no greeting good my waitress never come to see if i need something or if everything was ok later 2 american guess walking in with no musk they don't ask them to wered and i was within for my waitress than later i saw she was leaving never came to let Me know that some wilbe taking care. The never. No one of the employees wheare gloves when they touched plates well im very disappointed never happened to me in this place before

Best TexMex on the Northeast side of town. Large delicious margaritas! The staff is friendly and go above and beyond. Every time we are nearby we try to stop here.

The food and service was way too salty. Then to top it all, got the order wrong.

I waited more than 10 minutes just for a cup of water. I then asked a lady then she was just rude and ignored my request. I no longer enjoy alma latina due to the lack of quality customer service.

The christian beef fajita taco with added pico de gallo and jalapenos were delicious! And my friend liked the shrimp quesadillas. Only problem was waitress taking orders correctly.

This and one other unnamed place are tied for my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. I won't touch a lot of others. For example, Pueblo Viejo is overpriced as heck. El Ranchero changed some of their recipes, seemingly because people apparently couldn't handle them before I guess? Whatever, this is for Alma Latina. Excellent service, good prices, and amazing food. It's almost to the point where, on the rare occasion we get Mexican because mom doesn't like it much, we have to flip a coin! This food is seriously amazing.

Food was mediocre, but the wait staff needs a few lessons in etiquette. Their manners are lacking. If you work with people you're expected to be polite... I have never experienced such rudeness before. **and I STILL left that evil woman a tip & she was even more rude as I was leaving! Pfff.

Great food, always not and fresh. The service is always excellent. The staff is very friendly especially with any questions. I love the happy hour specials, their margaritas are really good! The location is convenient and parking is never a problem.

My husband and I have been going to Alma Latina's in Porter for years. That "short" server mentioned in previous reviews is Cristian. He's absolutely awesome! He remembers every time how I like my margaritas and he remembers that I hate tomatoes. We love him. The food is always fast, fresh, and delicious. In a previous review someone also recommended not trying seafood there, but I guess they didn't read the sign. It IS an actual seafood restaurant. My husband loves their seafood. We highly recommend it!

This is one of my sister's favorite places to eat locally. Cheese enchiladas are her go to, I personally prefer parrillada of beef fajita. Prices are reasonable, free chips and salsa, and the margaritas are delicious.

My first time here. Overall liked it. Time wait was alright considering it was a busy Friday the day I went. Staff needs a little improvement.

First time was delicious and service was great this second time we waited 40 minutes for our food. Food was cold and you could barely catch the waitress. I understand they were short staffed but cold food, the wait, I was missing part of my order and she never brought the rest of it. Never going again which is sad because it was like night and day. Food was great the first time and mediocre the second time.
